Janet Wolf, the Executive Director since 2002, has been breeding Birman cats for almost twenty years. She also assists in local cat rescues. Mrs. Wolf co-chaired the First International Feline Coronavirus/Feline Infectious Peritonitis conference. She is active in a variety of activities with the Cat Fanciers' Association (CFA) and a frequent contributor of health articles to the CFA Almanac. She is a Past President of National Birman Fanciers and is an active member of several local cat clubs. She has served on the Organizing Committee for the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary School's Feline Symposium, and has worked closely with veterinarians at both the University of Pennsylvania and the University of California, Davis.
Professionally, Mrs. Wolf is a retired park manager with the National Park Service. For over 26 years she managed national park units with significant natural and cultural resources. She specialized in developing partnership programs, planning, and developing new park areas.
The Executive Director is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Foundation, including fund-raising and liaising with pet owners, breeders, veterinarians and researchers.
